ABOUT AMANDA PERRI
she/her
Amanda discovered her love for yoga in 2014 when she first visited LA. To her, Yoga is a lifestyle of practicing the purest form of Unconditional Love. It is the absolute perception of compassionately connecting the elements of breath, heart, body, mind, and sound. She had her “Ah Ha” moment with Yoga when she met her beloved teacher and friend, Andrei Ram, a devoted student of Sri Dharma Mittra. “This was what I have been searching for.” As her practice evolved, she fell in love with kirtan; chanting mantras and bhajans (devotional songs). Her teaching and kirtan offerings have expanded outside of public classes and privates, to co-leading 200HR teacher trainings, workshops, and retreats. Amanda believes the essence of yoga is learning how to connect within, while surrendering to stillness or fluidity and trusting the breath’s dance. Whether it’s through chanting devotional mantras, an exploration in stillness, or through movement, Amanda trusts there are many paths to experience the grace of the Divine. She made a promise to herself to always continue the dive, to devote, and selflessly serve others on their quest for Self Realization.
Amanda practices from lineages of deep healing through breath and vibration (sound and energetic). She is certified in Integrated Energy Therapy and Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho).
While IET and Reiki are beautiful stand-alone systems, she integrates other holistic modalities such as essential oils, crystals, restorative asana (physical postures), and sound to craft and personalize the clients specific intentions.
